What if Johnny just suddenly decided: Girl Groups Are The Way To Go!
(Meaning adding girl groups wouldn’t be a bad idea)

Definately: Hooray! Seriously, people like you are awesome! It’s good to see that I’m not the only one that would accept them! (If there were to be a girl group). I mean seriously, you can’t judge the group or suddenly hate them without even getting to know them by at least watching them perform once right?

Maybe: Seriously, I don’t blame you. If random girls just entered I’d probably feel like WTF!? at first too. But of course I’d probably end up fangirling over them too! Johnny isn’t a fool when it comes to setting up groups, so I can’t doubt his powers to form a group even if it’s of the female persuasion!

No Way: Uhm..Why? Okay I understand Shounen Club means ‘Boys Club’ but maybe that can mean guys in the audience(?) you know, to hang out and watch some artists perform. Seriously, you really won’t even give them a small chance? Hating on them just because they might spend some time with your idol? Tsk, tsk.

소녀시대 (Pronounced: So Nyeo Shi Dae) a.k.a SNSD is a girl group under SM Entertainment. Most members of the group have been training within the company for at least a 4-5 year minimum and also majored and showed extreme talent in multiple performing talents including singing, dancing, & acting. Though they were not the first girl group to form under SM, they gained haters due to the notice that they were close to fellow SM boy bands. (DBSK, Super Junior, etc.) Though after their debut performance they also got a huge fanbase. Though not as active in 2008 ( as a group due to solo activities) in their 2009 comeback with Gee & Genie they became South Korea’s #1 girl group breaking numerous records on and offline. They also placed #1 on on and offline music charts in multiple countires in Asia.  Working hard for so long and continuing to do so, they have managed to become one of the most known girl groups worldwide.

If you know of 2NE1, then you know they are a girl group who made their debut just this year in May 2009. Created by the company, YG Entertainment that was supposedly, ‘Not Able To Work With A Girl Group’. (Though they do have females soloists). Labeled as ‘Female Big Bang’ since the rumor of YG Entertainment releasing a girl group they gained much attention. (Big Bang is a very popular boy group from the same company).Though they also gained some Antis (people who dislike them and go to great lengths to show it) due to their thoughts that they may spend too much time with Big Bang or begin to pair up with Big Bang for performances (where Big Bang usually performs with Wonder Girls for special collaboration stages). After the release of their very first digital single ‘Fire’ more and more people started to admire them and they now have a huge fanbase after much hardwork and success.

Is it really impossible for a female group in Johnny’s Jimusho to do the same?
